Chez Microsoft Outlook rev\u00eat 3 r\u00e9alit\u00e9s:
– Un logiciel de messagerie, appartement \u00e0 la suite Office \/ Microsoft 365. La premi\u00e8re version date de 1997
– Un logiciel de messagerie gratuit, inclus dans Windows 11 (s’appelait auparavant Courrier)
– Un service en ligne de messagerie (adresse outlook.fr, outlook.com, etc..)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Bref quand on parle d’Outlook, difficile de savoir de quoi on parle exactement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ce qui nous interresse ici est le logiciel, Microsoft Outlook, qui \u00e9volue r\u00e9guli\u00e8rement. Actuellement 2 versions coexistent:
– Outlook New (avec un nouveau design)
– Outlook Classique (le mot classique a \u00e9t\u00e9 ajout\u00e9 r\u00e9cemment pour la diff\u00e9rencier)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Certes Outlook classique a un design un peu plus aust\u00e8re, mais repose sur la technologie qui a fait s’imposer Outlook, en entreprise notamment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Microsoft ne cesse depuis des mois de nous inciter \u00e0 basculer vers la nouvelle version, d’une part en nous l’installant sans notre consentement \u00e9clair\u00e9, puis en mettant un bouton \u00e0 bascule \u00ab\u00a0Essayer le nouveau Outlook\u00a0\u00bb dans Outlook Classique.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Le terme \u00ab\u00a0Essayer\u00a0\u00bb suppose qu’on peut revenir en arri\u00e8re. Dans les faits \u00e7a n’est pas aussi simple. D\u00e8s lors qu’on a cliqu\u00e9 sur ce bouton, seul Outlook New se lancera. Il n’est pas impossible de revenir en arri\u00e8re mais en tout cas il est bien plus complexe de quitter Outlook New que de l’adopter. Bug ou volont\u00e9? Difficile \u00e0 dire mais en tout cas \u00e7a va dans le sens que souhaite Microsoft. Car Microsoft fait le forcing pour imposer cette nouvelle version, au risque de d\u00e9cevoir les utilisateurs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Le gros atout d’Outlook New est d’avoir un design tr\u00e8s proche de la version web. Pour celles et ceux qui passent souvent de la version de bureau \u00e0 la version web, c’est int\u00e9ressant. Mais cette nouvelle version est elle r\u00e9ellement pr\u00eate?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
La gestion des boites partag\u00e9es est inexistante, la stabilit\u00e9 est perfectible, et les options propos\u00e9es semblent bien plus limit\u00e9es que dans la version classique. Un comble pour une version d\u00e9di\u00e9e aux professionnels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Jusqu’\u00e0 pr\u00e9sent la migration \u00e9tait faite sur validation de l’utilisateur mais cel\u00e0 pourrait changer. Microsoft pourrait imposer ce passage \u00e0 Outlook New d\u00e8s ce d\u00e9but d’ann\u00e9e 2025.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
