Microsoft dispose de solutions d\u00e9di\u00e9es aux petites structures, dont un syst\u00e8me d’exploitation serveur disposant de fonctionnalit\u00e9s simplifi\u00e9es afin de faciliter l’administration. Autrefois appel\u00e9 Windows Server Small Business, il est devenu \u00e0 partir de 2012 Windows Server Essentials. La sortie de la version 2019 s’est accompagn\u00e9e d’un message de Microsoft: ce sera la derni\u00e8re version d\u00e9di\u00e9e aux TPE.

Microsoft ne croit plus en la pertinence d’un serveur physique dans une petite structure. Le march\u00e9 du cloud est arriv\u00e9 \u00e0 maturit\u00e9 et permet de proposer des solutions alternatives, plus faciles \u00e0 g\u00e9rer et plus s\u00e9curis\u00e9es. Avec la sortie r\u00e9cente de Microsoft 365 (Office 365 + Advanced Threat Management + Enterprise Mobility + Windows Enterprise)  Microsoft propose une solution alliant ressources partag\u00e9es, authentification, s\u00e9curit\u00e9 et largement capable de rivaliser avec Windows Server Essentials et \u00eatre plus efficace en mobilit\u00e9. D’ailleurs inutile d’attendre la fin de vie de Windows Server Essentials 2019 pour qu’il soit condamn\u00e9 car si la version 2019 existe, elle est d\u00e9nu\u00e9e de tous les outils qui faisaient la force des pr\u00e9d\u00e9cesseurs. Windows Server Essentials 2019 n’a d\u00e9sormais plus qu’une sp\u00e9cificit\u00e9 li\u00e9e \u00e0 son tarif.

Si vous pr\u00e9f\u00e9rez une infrastructure sur site ou que votre d\u00e9bit internet ne permet pas l’externalisation des donn\u00e9es, d’autres solutions existent comme les NAS capables de cr\u00e9er un domaine. Ils permettent d’aller quasiment aussi loin qu’avec Windows Server Essentials, tout en ayant l’int\u00e9r\u00eat de rien couter \u00e0 l’usage en licences, car certaines entreprises ont un nombre d’utilisateurs important mais qui se connectent peu, dans ce cas le syst\u00e8me Microsoft factur\u00e9 \u00e0 l’utilisateur peu se r\u00e9v\u00e9ler moins int\u00e9ressant Windows Server Essentials ou un NAS qui ont un cout fixe quel que soit le nombre d’utilisateurs (jusque 25 pour Windows Server Essentials).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
